God is my shepherd, I shall want for nothing.
He lays me down in green pastures,
He leads me by quiet streams,
He refreshes my languishing soul,
He leads me on a righteous path
To the glory of his name.
And even in the shadow of death I walk,
I walk without fear,
For You protect me,
Your staff and your support
Are my comfort forever.
You prepare a feast of joy for me
In the face of my enemies,
You anoint my head with oil
And pour me full cups;
Salvation and bliss follow me
Follow me in this life,
One day I’ll rest forever
There in the eternal house.
